Mission Viejo is a well-planned, primarily suburban community in South Orange County known for quiet, family-friendly residential areas, well-maintained streets, and plenty of parks and outdoor space. The city has over 50 parks and recreational facilities and scenic spots like Lake Mission Viejo and trails for walking, biking, and outdoor activities. It’s centrally located with relatively easy access to nearby Orange County destinations like Irvine, Laguna Beach, and major job centers.

The community tends to feel car-oriented — most errands and trips require a car for convenience because walkability is limited in many areas. However, there are several walkable places near the home including Target, Philz Coffee, Bushfire Kitchen, Prime Pizza, Mendocino Farms, The Taco Stand, and Dave's Hot Chicken.

Mission Viejo is a comfortable suburban community with strong regional access. While most guests prefer to drive, there are several transportation options available.

Mission Viejo is primarily car-dependent, and driving is typically the easiest way to get around for errands, dining, and sightseeing. But there are a lot of walkable places by the house. Rideshare services are also readily available.

The Metrolink station is a short drive or shuttle ride away, offering convenient rail access for guests who want to explore Southern California without driving.

Overall, Mission Viejo offers a relaxed suburban setting with convenient freeway access and reliable regional transit options.

Pool heater:
The pool heating system uses a significant amount of natural gas, so activating it incurs a daily fee of $150 (plus tax). This fee will be billed prior to your arrival if you request pool heating.

Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate and can be easily heated using the backyard controls. Please allow up to 2 hours for it to reach 100-102°F, depending on the outside temperature. If you’d like the hot tub warmed up before your arrival, feel free to message us in advance, and we’ll be happy to turn it on for you!

Maintenance:
For your convenience, our pool technician visits weekly to keep the pool clean. The landscaper services the property every Thursday, and trash is collected on Thursday mornings with walk-up service. These visits are scheduled to maintain the property while minimizing any disruption to your stay.

Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $150 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog

Parking:
Guests staying at OC Ultimate Family Escape may park on the driveway, directly in front of the house, or across the street. Please do not park in front of neighbors' houses. The garage is not available for guest parking.

Community Perks:
Enjoy access to a nearby community basketball court. Doria Park is within walking distance and features a full-size basketball court and a small sand playground for kids. Bring a basketball and enjoy some family fun just steps from the home.

Wi-Fi:
High-speed T-Mobile internet is provided. Please bring your own login credentials for streaming apps on the Smart TVs.

Compliance:
Parties, events, and gatherings are strictly prohibited. No more than 13 guests are allowed on the property at any time.

Security:
For your safety, exterior Blink security cameras are located at the front door, porch, garage, and the corners of the backyard facing the pool and patio areas. Please note: cameras do not face the spa or the interior of the home.
