"Island Life" is located within the famous Sea Pines gated community on Hilton Head Island. Nestled just inside the Ocean Gate it sits alone on a private, oversized forested lot, next to the neighborhood pool! One of the standout features of this retreat is the private balcony that overlooks a large, natural lagoon that is teeming with wildlife!

Island Life at Night Heron is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to many of the local Sea Pines attractions: Harbour Town, South Beach Marina, Sea Pines Beach Club & the protected wildlife habitat of Sea Pines Forest Preserve. You also have access the many trails and bike paths to explore the beauty of the neighborhood.

A car is recommended, but the island has Uber & several car service companies.

Upon arrival, you will find two private parking spaces at the property. Bring your own bicycles from home to explore miles of bike paths or use one of our islands many bike rental companies. *Please note electric bicycles are not allowed within the Sea Pines gates*.

● No Pets or Emotional Support Animals
To maintain the comfort and cleanliness of the home for all guests, pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not permitted. Service Animals are welcome with prior authorization and completion of required documentation in accordance with applicable laws.

● Sea Pines Resort Gate Pass
This home is located within the gated community of Sea Pines Resort. All vehicles must purchase a gate pass upon arrival at the Ocean Gate. Current rates are $10 per day or $25 per week (cash only). Rates are set by the resort and are subject to change.

● Pool & Resort Amenities
The neighborhood pool is open year-round. Please note that certain amenities within Sea Pines Resort may be seasonal, weather-dependent, or subject to maintenance closures. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking directly with the resort prior to your stay.

● Additional Sleeping Option
A twin air mattress is available upon request. Please let us know prior to arrival so we can have it prepared for your stay.

● Beach Gear Provided
For your convenience, beach towels, beach chairs, and a rolling beach cart are provided. Please bring your own beach umbrella or arrange a local rental if desired.

● Parking
The home accommodates up to two (2) vehicles in the driveway.
Please park in designated areas only. Street parking, parking on grass, pine straw, or neighboring properties is strictly prohibited and may result in fines.

● Lagoon & Local Wildlife
The property overlooks a beautiful natural lagoon that may be home to local wildlife. We encourage guests to enjoy the view from a safe and respectful distance and to avoid feeding or approaching wildlife. All bodies of fresh water (lagoons, canals, etc.) in the South (from NC to TX) may be home to alligators - safe if enjoyed from a distance!

● Pest Control Service
As part of routine island maintenance, scheduled pest control service may occur during your stay. Service is brief, exterior-focused, and minimally disruptive.

● Quiet Hours
The Town of Hilton Head Island enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors and the peaceful island atmosphere.

● Pool Safety
There are no lifeguards on duty, and no safety equipment is provided. Use of the pool is at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.

● 2025–2026 Beach Renourishment Project
The Town of Hilton Head Island has scheduled a beach renourishment project for 2025. The beach area adjacent to the home may experience temporary impact at some point between November 2025 and May 2026. Timelines are determined by the Town and are subject to change.

● Travel Insurance Recommended
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment against unforeseen circumstances, including weather, illness, or travel disruptions.
