Located just a 2-minute drive from the quaint and quirky town of Guerneville, you’ll have easy access to local shops, restaurants, beaches and wine tasting while enjoying the tranquility of nature. The home is also in close proximity to numerous world-class wineries. Armstrong Woods is only 10 minutes away by car, and Northwoods Golf Course is a 10-minute drive. The lovely Sonoma Coast with numerous beaches is about 15-20 minutes away by car.

The Home

Step inside and be transported to a warm and inviting retreat with original wood paneling, a vintage decorative brass rotisserie, an old-school commercial-grade bar and lots of board games and books. This home offers two distinct living spaces, perfect for gathering with family and friends. The cozy family room features a decorative brick fireplace and queen-size pullout sofa bed, while the great room boasts panoramic River views and another queen-size pullout sofa bed. There is also a seasonal unfinished Bonus Room downstairs, with a half bath and space to hang out or use as additional sleeping space on an air mattress during the summer months. Note that these amenities are not included in the bedroom or bathroom count.

For those who need to stay connected, the home includes high-speed WiFi, two flat-screen TVs, Basic Cable in the living room, and a Smart TV in the primary bedroom. A Bose radio is available to set the mood with your favorite tunes. There is also a workspace with a desk in the primary bedroom—ideal for remote work or Zoom calls.

Kitchen & Dining

The fully stocked renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, convection oven with range top burners, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, and microwave. You’ll find everything you need—dinnerware, flatware, glassware, cookware, serving platters, utensils, cooking oils, basic spices, coffee, tea and more—to prepare delicious meals for your group.

Enjoy your culinary creations on the expansive deck, which includes a propane BBQ and a dining table for eight, all while soaking in breathtaking views of the river and towering Redwood trees. An indoor foldout table and chairs are also available for cooler months.

Outdoor Fun & River Access

Take advantage of the seasonal private dock, accessible via several sets of fairly steep stairs. Whether you’re boating, floating, fishing, or simply lounging by the water, this is the perfect spot to enjoy the River. A sandy/gravel beach is just a quick paddle across the River in one of the three kayaks (two single and one double, available late June through early October, depending on River conditions).

Two shady lower-level retreats provide even more space to unwind while taking in the natural beauty. Watch for deer grazing across the River or in the yard, families of ducks floating by, and tons of birds soaring above and fluttering in the trees. There is also a welcoming front patio with table, chairs and a succulent garden.

You'll have the home to yourselves, and we really hope you enjoy this unique, peaceful and genuinely magical space while being mindful of our neighbors. There are two parking places directly in front of our home, with additional free parking one block away. Quiet time is between 9:00 pm, and 9:00 am per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental noise ordinance. There are four outdoor motion-activated Blink video security cameras. One is over the front door, one at the front side of the house and two over the downstairs exterior door, and they are active 24/7.

We'll send your personal access code for the keyless entry system a few days prior to your arrival, along with other helpful info.
