Overlooking the pretty resident’s garden, with views of the mountains beyond, the balcony provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply relaxing with a book. The communal garden provides guests with shared BBQ facilities, a swing and a ping-pong table.

Inside the spacious, open-plan living area is furnished with two ample sofas, a coffee table, a wood burner and a dining table and chairs for 8. The fully fitted kitchen is separated from the living space with an island and is equipped with a microwave, oven, induction hob, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, American fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Collina d'Oro (Golden Hill) Lugano, is nestled between the beautiful glacial Lake Lugano and the foothills of the Alps. Situated near the borders of Switzerland and Italy, between Lakes Maggiore and Como, Lugano has a rich cultural heritage.

A day trip on the Lake, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square and historic centre, Piazza della Riforma. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, Parco Ciani (considered one of the most beautiful parks in Switzerland) and Swissminiatur, Switzerland's largest open-air miniature museum are all approximately within a 15-minute drive.

For art lovers, MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular exhibitions and for literature fans, Montagnola, home to the museum dedicated to Nobel Prize-winning author Hermann Hesse is an 8-minute walk away.

Lido San Domenico and the Olive Grove trail that ends in the picturesque village of Gandria are approximately a 20-minute drive away.
