There is absolutely NO SMOKING indoors. Put all smoking materials in the ashtrays provided outside.

There are NO parties allowed.

No extra guests other than what you have confirmed to me in your booking and guests are to sleep in the beds provided. Sleeping on the couches is not allowed for hygienic reasons.

Please be respectful of the neighbours and keep the noise to a minimum in the later hours.

Do not put anything in the propane fire pit and do not cook anything over it. You can roast marshmallows or wieners over the wood fire pit in the yard.

When using the fire pit, do not build too big of a fire and always keep the screened lid on the firepit to prevent embers from starting any brush fires. Do not put trash in the firepit. Do not dump ashes out of firepit. (RM of Alexander bylaw)

Do not remove any branches or trees from around the area to burn in the firepit. Use only seasoned firewood. This can be purchased from the grocery store.

When cooking with stronger spices, garlic, or bacon, please turn on the fan, open a window, and close the bedroom doors.

If you have brought any pets with you, they are not allowed to run at large per RM of Alexander bylaws. Do not leave them unattended outside or allow them to bark unnecessarily. Please ensure that you have picked up all pet waste and disposed of it in the outside garbage bin near the shed.

Pets are NOT allowed on the furniture or beds. Please respect the guests that will be staying here after you. 2 medium sized pet beds are available for use.

***DURING BEAR SEASON, NO GARBAGE IS TO BE LEFT OUTSIDE AT ALL. You may have to drive excess garbage to garbage dump during this time. ***

Do not leave food around outside as it will attract wildlife and DO NOT feed any wildlife. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited by law.

Please inform us right away if anything gets broken so we know what repairs are needed.

Please leave the place as tidy or better than you found it.

Please make sure any containers that go in the recycling bin are rinsed and free of food.

Please make sure your dishes are washed and put away or that the dishwasher has been loaded and started before you leave.

Place used towels in tall laundry basket in laundry area. Please notify us of any stains on any linens so they may be treated properly before being washed.

Just before you leave and lock up, walk through the cottage and make sure you don’t leave anything behind.
