Awake to morning birdsong in this light-filled space that's as calming as it's charming. Catch the sun on the patio or simply enjoy the view through the adjoining doors while dining inside. A writing desk and big walk-in closet complete the picture. Blackout blinds have been added recently so you can sleep in!

It is extremely clean and has been taken care of with lots of love. Enjoy your stay with a comfortable bed and linens. A futon couch is available for an additional guest to sleep. Guests have a separate entrance and access to a patio area where you can sit and read or enjoy a meal. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Plenty of closet space allows you to put your suitcase and be at home.

This is a family friendly neighborhood with a park just a few doors down. There you will find tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts and a playground. Penmar Golf Course is just across the street from the park. This is a safe neighborhood to walk in. It is about a 12 minute walk to Lincoln Blvd where there are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Less than two miles from the beach and even closer to Main St. Santa Monica, Abbot Kinney and Rose Ave where plenty of day and nightlife action happen.

Guests have full access to a private space via own entrance.

I live in and work out of the main portion of the house and am happy to help whenever I can. I love meeting new people, but the amount of interaction is up to you. You have as much privacy as you like.

This is a great neighborhood, close enough to all Venice has to offer but not stuck in the middle of it. It's just steps from a park with basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, and a playground. And public golf course is across the street from the park.

If you rent a car, consider taking Lyft or Uber to a car rental place NOT at the airport. The airport costs more, and has been taking a long time for people to get their cars.

The Metro Bus and Big Blue Bus has stops on Walgrove ( a minute away) and Lincoln Blvd (about a 10 minute walk). The Big Blue Bus stop on Walgrove will take you to Santa Monica and the newish train station.

Lyft and Uber are popular options, too.

For stays of more than 10 days we require an additional cleaning fee of $60 for each week. We will arrange a convenient time to accommodate your schedule to do the mid-stay cleaning.

Lost key fee is $50.
