Welcome to The Mountain Place Log Cabin! Your family will have a delightful time while staying in this 3-story, 2++ bedroom, 1 ½-bath true log cabin. Situated in a quiet and peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac, the first floor features an open floor plan with two sets of standard-sized bunk beds. There’s also a freestanding wood stove (firewood provided) and a foosball table, a study with a desk (for those who have work to do), plus a laundry room with a stack washer and dryer, an adjacent sauna, and a handy shower. Ascending the staircase to the main floor reveals an open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living room area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and an island cook station. The dining area includes a large dining table with seating for up to eight people. The living area features a comfy sectional couch, an old-fashioned wood stove (firewood provided) to cozy up to, and a door that leads to a wraparound balcony…perfect for sipping your favorite beverage while taking in nature’s splendor. There’s also a ½-bath and back door access to the balcony, where there is a pizza oven refurbishment on the back deck. It is currently inoperable but will be operational next summer! Ascending the staircase to the top floor reveals an open loft with a queen-sized bed, a very nice full bath with an old-fashioned claw foot tub/shower combo, and a large master bedroom with 1-king-sized bed. Equipped with Starlink service, there’s no wimpy WIFI here! This rustic, pet-friendly (Due to extreme allergies, Cats are NOT permitted at this cabin family vacation property) (2-pet maximum - No Exceptions) will sleep up to 8 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

Snowline is located at the edge of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old-growth forests, an area rich in history.

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, nature viewing, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

FROM SEATTLE (WA): Take Interstate-5 (North) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn right at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2-hours.

FROM VANCOUVER, B.C (Canada): Take Highway 99 (South) to the Peace Arch Crossing at the Canada / USA border exchange, then take Interstate-5 (South) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn left at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5-hours.

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls. Here they will receive keys as well as location information. WHERE YOU CHECK IN: Mt. Baker Lodging Office 7425 Mt. Baker Highway Maple Falls, WA 98266-2002 Hours: 9AM - 5PM PST DAILY, except holidays Please Note: For after hour check-ins, the Guest’s reservation packet will include information on how to access a lock box for keys and directions.

1: Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time.

3: Housekeeping/maid services are not available during your stay.
4: Upon departure we require Guests to start the dishwasher.
5: Early check-in is not allowed

Refundable Damage Deposit

A Damage Deposit is not required; however, damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.

*Unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.

Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply. On or after December 1st, guests will forfeit the entire rental amount unless the home(s) can be re-booked, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
