A one-of-a-kind "tiny cabin," the Mountain Lily is the perfect homebase for your Mt. Rainier adventure or weekend getaway for two. It is bordered on three sides by over 250 sq. ft. of covered deck where you can view the towering douglas fir trees, vine maples and wild huckleberries when in season. Inside, the gas fireplace adds comfort and ambiance after a relaxing dip in your private hot tub.

We generally try to stay out of the way, but live just a short way away. We are an easy phone call or drive away, should you need any assistance. We are happy to help meet any reasonable requests that you may have.

Just 5 miles from the Main Nisqually Entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, the cabin is situated in the recreational community of Bavarian Retreat. Across the street is a pond in the Paradise Estates Community that you may visit that we are members of. It is a nice place to stroll and see birds, roaming deer and otters occasionally fishing. Hiking is a short distance away in the Park or Federal/State Forests. You can grab a burger and blackberry pie at one of the local restaurants about 5 miles away. And remember to bring your favorite foods for grilling, but get your groceries before you are in Ashford. We don't have a regular grocery store!
