Milsom Retreat is an elegant two-bedroom apartment in the heart of historic Bath, set on Milsom Street and placing the city’s restaurants, galleries and landmarks within easy walking distance.

The apartment has been thoughtfully designed as a comfortable and elegant city retreat, combining the character of Bath’s Georgian architecture with the comforts of a modern home.

Set quietly at the rear, the apartment offers a peaceful retreat in the very centre of the city.

Step outside and the character of Bath is there immediately. Independent shops, cafés and excellent restaurants are close by, while the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the rooftop pools of Thermae Bath Spa are all an easy stroll away.

Inside, the apartment is light, spacious and quietly comfortable. Traditional Georgian sash windows flood the rooms with natural light, and the generous proportions create an ease that many modern apartments lack. Bespoke artworks and photographs throughout add character and a sense of a carefully curated home.

The living room is a comfortable place to unwind after a day in the city, with a Samsung Art smart TV with regular channels for relaxed evenings. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for longer stays, including a Nespresso Creatista coffee machine and a EuroCave wine cooler. The kitchen table works equally well for breakfast or as a place to work. A Sonos speaker in the living room makes it easy to set the mood for the evening, while fast WiFi (100 Mbps) runs throughout the apartment, which spans around 90 square metres in total.

Both bedrooms have zip-and-link beds which can be configured as super-king doubles or twins, making the apartment equally suited to couples, friends or families with small children. The master bedroom has its own ensuite shower room, and there is a separate main bathroom. Samsung Art smart TVs are available in both bedrooms, and Dyson fans are provided for warmer weather.

Bath Spa station is around a ten-minute walk, and the Park & Ride service stops just outside the building, a practical option if you’re arriving by car.

The beds by default are set as superking in one of the bedrooms and twins in the other. Both bedrooms can be set up either as superking or twins. However, we need to have at least one week notice to guarantee the requested bed setup.

Please note that improvement works are currently taking place to parts of the building and are expected to be completed in the coming months. These do not affect the apartment itself, although there may occasionally be some activity in the building during normal daytime working hours.
