The cabin is a great getaway spot for couples, small families, and small groups of friends, as it has all the comforts of home in a beautiful forest setting.

Prep meals in the kitchen, which is outfitted with stainless steel appliances (please note: no dishwasher or garbage disposal), granite countertops, and basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, and oil. You also have access to a grill on the deck, with propane provided. When you wake up, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea on the deck with the Keurig and provided supplies (K-Cups, sugar, creamer packets). We also have a traditional drip coffee machine.

Make use of the high-speed WiFi to stream your favorite movies and shows on the smart TV's in the living room and main bedroom (please bring your own login). If you'd rather disconnect for a while, you can hang out in the hot tub or around the firepit, or take a walk down to the beautiful creek and listen to the sounds of nature for a while (the walk back up can be a little challenging). For the firepit, we always try to keep a good supply of firewood for our guests to use. Inside, keep warm on the vegan leather sofa by the fireplace and have fun with the board games.

If you venture out, there are 36 holes of golf, a spa, and a restaurant right within our community, The Woods. Beyond that, there are several charming towns with really good restaurants and nice shops nearby, including Berkeley Springs, which is one of the best small towns in the country. You can also hike the many trails in the area, tour local wineries and distilleries, and explore our history in Harpers Ferry. We provide our guests with a guidebook in the cabin, which contains our suggested restaurants and things to do.

Though we welcome up to two dogs per stay, please understand that there is often extra wear and tear and cleaning that comes with bringing them along. Therefore, we charge a $75 flat fee if you are bringing a pet. To include them in your reservation, please select the number of pets you'll be bringing in the "add guests" section.

The cabin is easily accessible via paved roads. There is a big driveway where you can park several cars and a carport to keep your car protected if you'd like. The community clears snow off of the paved roads, but not the driveway, so if it snows a lot or icy conditions are forecasted, we would suggest parking at the top of the driveway (which is close to the cabin) if you don't have a 4WD. There is a snow shovel available just in case you need it. This is not normally a problem... we just want you to be aware of the weather so you can prepare if needed.

The cabin is located in the quiet Woods community, where guests can golf, use the spa, or have dinner.

NOTE: Staying at our cabin, you will be able to use the golf course and spa (additional fees). Unfortunately, our cabin does not come with a membership, and therefore will not give you access to the other community amenities, but we do have a private hot tub on the deck for your use.

All roads in the community, other than the cabin's driveway, are maintained.

The cabin is baby friendly and has a high chair, pack 'n play, baby gate for the stairs, and outlet covers. Please be aware that the rails of the loft railing are spread apart wider than normal, which is great for the view out the back window, but not so much for unattended small children in the loft.

We have 2 outdoor security cameras - 1 in the carport and and 1 at the screen door. They are always on and record on motion for security purposes.

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy.
