THE LOCAL DIFFERENCE: In addition to our top-notch locations, product, and service, your property will be have been cleaned and inspected by experienced professionals. And you won't have to sweat the basics; we provide trash bags, full-sized bottles of laundry/dishwasher detergent and dish soap, two rolls of paper towels, three giant rolls of TP, and luxury starter products, including shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion, and soap.

Local provides short-term housing with soul. We are "super hosts" with 6+ years of experience welcoming Guests from all over the world. We create a personalized web page for you (it can also be printed out). In addition to your booking details and important arrival info, your digital manual gives you the complete 411 on your property and the community in which you are staying. We send you a link to your page via text and email once your booking is confirmed.

After you check in we interact as much or as little as you'd like. We are always available where and when needed, and 24/7 for urgent matters.

Atlanta is a sprawling metropolis, but one of the things that sets it apart from other expansive cities is its distinctive neighborhoods. Virginia-Highland (VaHi, to locals) is named after its major intersection of Virginia Avenue and North Highland Avenue—it’s a destination for foodies and families alike, and is packed with charming bungalow houses. Marta is Atlanta's subway system. Check online for more details and locations. Rideshares readily available, e.g., Uber, Lyft, etc. Bikes, scooters, and more for rent.

How we book: While we welcome all Guests and lengths of stays when we can accommodate them, we host a lot of film/TV production and corporate Guests who typically stay for longer periods of time with uncertain end dates. As such, we are not able to book right behind these Guests unless we've confirmed their departure dates, which is usually a week out of their scheduled departures. If your arrival date is more than a few days out of today's date and your booking is for less than 7 nights, please check back closer to your arrival date, or feel free to send an inquiry and we can check availability of our full inventory of properties for you.

Rental agreement/ID: After initial approval of a booking request, each Guest will receive a brief short term rental agreement to e-sign and will also be required to provide a copy of his or her valid driver’s license or other official ID. We do not need the DL number so that information can be blocked out if desired. ID and/or a background scan (without SS#) may also be required prior to initial approval of a booking request.

Rates and availability: Rates and availability are subject to change prior to booking with a credit card, and even after booking if there is a maintenance issue or other unforeseen issue with a property. LOCAL will make every attempt to place Guests into a like property but cannot guarantee availability or rates.

Pets: Our non-refundable pet fees range from $100-$350 depending on the property. Not all properties accept pets and all require written approval prior to booking confirmation.

Amenities: Optional amenities that are checked, such as pack and plays, children's toys/books, etc. are provided on a first-come, first-served and may not be available for your dates. Please confirm the availability of any items you would like to use during your stay in advance of booking. We cannot guarantee availability of these items after your booking is confirmed without advance notice/request.
