The holiday house is located in the village of Germignaga not very far from the lakeshore. It is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful vacation in a traditional Italian village and soaking up the beauty of Lake Maggiore. Since the house is located in the main part of the village, it is quite close to the restaurants, shops and the supermarket.

Germignaga has a long history of habitation. It has changed its character from a fishing village to that of a tourist destination but has retained its calm and relaxed atmosphere. Among places of interest, the 12th church of San Rocco with a distinct Baroque architecture is the historical and cultural highlight of the region. On a stroll through the town, one can’t miss the lively atmosphere of Boschetto (not far from the house). The destination is known for offering various adventure sports and outdoor activities like hiking, cycling (especially the kilometer-long cycle path running around the river Morgorabbia for stunning landscape views), golfing, swimming, diving, sailing, surfing and fishing.

The public transport is quite reliable and can be used to take day trips to neighbouring towns on Lake Maggiore.
