Hi I am Alison, and my husband, Jerome, and I live at Haus Schneeberg, in the Austrian Alps, near Salzburg, Austria. Jerome is French and comes from Grenoble, and I am English and come from the Chester area.
We love outdoor life and the mountains, and if we aren't looking after guests in the house we are probably hiking / biking / skiing in the mountains!

We bought Haus Schneeberg at the end of 2012. It was our dream to run a hospitality business in the mountains, and we chose the Hochkönig region as we were taken away by the stunning scenes and beauty of the area! It also helps that it is 45 minutes from Salzburg, and there are many attractions around us in easy reach.

We have explored the area a lot over the last few years, so can advise you on the best places to visit, walk, eat etc. We live downstairs so are there to help you with any questions, and would love to hear about your experiences!
