Fjord View - Fjordgard

Welcome to Fjordgård, right at the foot of Senja's most famous mountains, Segla and Hesten!

This ad is for one bedroom in our guesthouse. The house has a total of three bedrooms, and this listing is for "Fjord View", our small twin room with 2 beds. The beds are apart by default, but you are welcome to move them together if you wish. Since this is our smallest room, it is usually booked by solo travellers or couples, who don’t mind that it is cozy. Those wishing for a bit more space might want to look at our 2 bigger bedrooms 🙂

Apart from your booked room, you are also welcome to enjoy the shared rest of the house, including the kitchen, 2 living rooms, balcony, patio and the BBQ hut, and shared bathroom.
The other 2 bedrooms might be occupied by us, our friends, or other travellers.

Our house is within walking distance to the trailheads of Segla, Hesten and Barden, as well as public transport, a sauna ship in the harbor, and our 24h supermarket
At the right time, you can see the midnight sun or northern lights directly from the balcony, or wait for them while enjoying a bonfire in the BBQ hut on the big patio.

Depending on availability, you can also rent snowshoes, skis, SUPs and kayaks (if you have a våtkort or equivalent). You get one free parking spot with each booked room. If you have more cars you can contact us in advance or park at the town's parking lot, which costs around 300 NOK per day.
