🌵Welcome to Casita Del Norte, your home away from home in Santa Fe! Located just north of the historic plaza, we are minutes away (by foot or by car) from some of the best that Santa Fe has to offer.

Casita Del Norte is tucked up a short gravel road just north of the historic Plaza, yet centrally located. The home has multiple outdoor spaces and views from the back patio. The kiva fireplace is a focal point in the living room. The two spacious en-suite bedrooms are located upstairs and both have king size beds. Working from home or streaming movies is easy with high speed internet/wifi. The fully equipped, full size kitchen is open to the dining room and faces the rear patio - don't miss the incredible sunsets! There is ample parking for two cars in front of the home.

We are huge music fans and have collected classic vinyl for years. Recently I was fortunate to inherit my uncle’s vinyl collection of ~300 albums. We have brought just a few to Casita Del Norte to share with our guests. Please take some time to flip through the collection. Hopefully you’ll find a favorite or two to enjoy during your stay.

Front Bedroom

Spacious primary bedroom has a king size bed with pressure relieving, memory foam mattress. En-suite bathroom has tub and shower. Double vanity with plenty of room for storage. Large 5-drawer dresser and walk-in closet provides tons of storage for your belongings. There's also a private balcony off this bedroom to enjoy your morning coffee or take private calls.

Rear Bedroom

1 king bed

Spacious king size bed with a view! Enjoy sunsets from the big window overlooking the arroyo seca. Watch carefully and you might enjoy seeing some wildlife. En-suite bathroom with single vanity and walk-in shower. There is a new three-drawer dresser and walk-in closet for your belongings. For those working from "home", there is a large desk in this room. You'll have privacy to continue working and to take calls in peace and quiet.

Absolutely no cigarette smoking is allowed inside or outside our home. Please respect this rule, if it's violated we will charge for smoke remediation at your expense.

Parking Included

We have designated parking for two cars directly in front of the house. It is not covered. Del Norte Lane is a short gravel road from Rosario Blvd to our home. It's navigable by car and foot. The parking space are spacious and gravel lined. Please do not park any RVs or travel trailers in the parking area - it's not allowed by the City of Santa Fe.

Casita Del Norte is just a 10 minute walk from the historic Santa Fe Plaza in the Rosario Hill Neighborhood. The historic plaza has award winning restaurants, museums and shopping for every budget and range of tastes. If you would rather hop in the car, there are endless opportunities for outdoor fun; hiking, skiing and cycling are just minutes away from the front door.

Head out the door to explore the neighborhood by foot. The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. A diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to newer residences such as Casita Del Norte. Running parallel with Rosario Boulevard, the Arroyo Mascras, evokes the feeling of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm and queen of paradise trees inhabiting the arroyo.

House Rules

We ask that you respect our home the way you respect your own. Casita Del Norte is in a small residential neighborhood. Out of respect for our neighbors, we do not allow parties or events. Please observe quiet time after 9pm.

Payment Policy

50% when reservation is made and 50% paid 14 days before arrival

Refundable Damage Deposit

Waived as long as credit cardholder agrees that ALL members of the rental party (and any visitors) will have read entire arrival guidebook and departure checklist. Please let us know if you prefer to pay a $500 damage deposit instead.

Cancellation Policy

Easy cancellation up to 14 days prior to reservation start date.
Reservations cancelled 13 days or less prior to arrival date will not be refunded.

Notes

Guests must be 25 years old to book a reservation. A picture of your ID will be requested after making your reservation.
The property has two exterior cameras to monitor the front and rear patio for your protection. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit and may, at the owner’s discretion, result in being evicted without refund for the remainder of the reservation.
