The perfect base for a family holiday, this ground floor apartment has a private garden and is set in extensive shared grounds, just a 2-minute walk from the shores of Lake Garda.

As part of a modern complex of holiday apartments, this property has plenty to offer families in search of holiday fun, including two shared swimming pools (swimming hats compulsory), multiple sun-loungers and a children’s playground. The open plan living/dining area has a large sofa, flat-screen, Smart TV, music stereo, dining table with 4 chairs. At the far end of the room is a set of double glass doors which lead onto the terrace and into a private garden. The terrace has another table and 4 chairs for eating outdoors, plus a parasol for shade.

Back indoors the open plan kitchen at the back of the living area is equipped with everything you might need for stress-free catering: Cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Sleeping

Bedroom: A sun-filled room, with access to the terrace through glass doors, this bedroom has a comfortable double bed, ample storage and a sofa.
Extra: The stylish sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathroom

The separate bathroom, with soft pink tiling, is equipped with a shower, basin, bidet, WC and washing machine.

Location

The apartment complex is in a quiet, residential part of the town of Desenzano del Garda, on the southern shores of Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. Desenzano del Garda has 3 beaches and is a popular holiday destination, with people enjoying a passeggiata in the main squares, Piazza Malvezzi and Piazza Matteotti (6 min drive or 20 min walk). Desenzano harbour, the Porto Vecchio, is a picture-perfect port edged with cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets.

Away from the lake, the 14th Century castle – Castello Desenzano del Garda (20 min walk) towers over the town. There is also a famous Roman villa with extensive mosaics and an excellent museum (13 min walk). On the first Sunday of the month, from May to November, you can hunt for bargains at the Antique and Vintage Clothing Market in Via Angelo Anelli (20 mins walk).

If you are looking for inspiration for your self-catering, the weekly farmers market, every Thursday in Piazza Garibaldi, is the place to go (16 min walk). Or there is another large food market every Tuesday, on the lakefront at Lungolago Cesare Battisti (7 min walk). For other produce and supplies, the town has all the amenities you might need.

Rail links from Desenzano provide easy access to Verona, Venice, Milan and Brescia, while road and ferry links from the town offer proximity to the famous spa town of Sirmione (25 minutes' drive) and the local resorts of Manerba del Garda, Salò, Limone, Riva and Bardolino.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 12-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport is 1 hour 46 minutes away. Please note that the pool is open from the 15th of May 2024 to the 31st of October 2024 A damage deposit of 500EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
