BQ showcases two renovated pools with one heated pool for 5 months of the year, two tennis courts to use, a 27 hole golf course, 2 block walk through private gate access to Forest beach, 5 min bike ride/10 min walk to Coligny plaza for shopping, dining and entertainment. Welcome to Brigantine Quarters inside Shipyard, a true hidden gem on HHI! Brigantine Quarters, an RCI Gold Crown recognized community, is located at the end of Barcelona Rd, a private, secluded drive with direct, gated beach access for owners and guests who enjoy the villa (around a 2 block, 7-8 minute walk to beach). Brigantine Quarters features 2 expansively renovated pools, one of which is heated for 5 months of the year (March - May, September - October), two resurfaced private tennis/pickleball courts, and a small playground for children. Shipyard features an enjoyable 27-hole golf course winding amongst the development's many lagoons, ponds, and Palmetto trees that is suitable for all skill level golfers.
Additionally, there are miles of meandering trailways for walking or biking about the plantation. Biking is one of the most popular activities on the island as the flat terrain makes it easy to get out and about not only within Shipyard, but over to Coligny Plaza, a favorite spot for shopping local stores and dining at some of the island's most quaint restaurants. Coligny also has a central courtyard area where you can enjoy live performances on summer evenings in-season.
The unit itself features an open floorplan with almost 1300 sq ft. The covered front porch has space to the left of the front door to house beach chairs, carts, umbrellas, and the like for the balance of your stay. The first floor features a large kitchen with solid surface countertops and new LVP floors, and stocked with a coffee maker (filters not included), toaster, and pots and pans in order to cook any meals for the week. A small supply of trash bags and dish detergent is included to get you started.
A huge combination dining and living room with new LVP flooring installed throughout in 2023. Vaulted ceilings provide comfort for enjoying the company of your loved ones. The dining room can seat up to six at the main table or you can sit in one of the three stools at the eat-in bar connected to the kitchen.
The living room has plenty of space for the family, including a sofa that doubles as a pull-out sleeper for additional guests, a loveseat, and separate chair, as well as a large flat screen TV (bring your favorite streaming device to plug in if you’d like as well) and DVD player to relax and unwind after a day at the beach or on a rainy afternoon. The living area opens to the back deck with a table and chairs which overlooks the 6th fairway of the Brigantine 9 of Shipyard Golf Club. Enjoy a nice morning with coffee or tea in hand as the golfers drive by.
The second bedroom has brand new carpet as of early 2023 and is located on the main level with two twin beds, another flat screen TV, and two closets. The attached full bathroom has a tiled floors and a tub/shower combination.
For your convenience, a full size washer and dryer is also located on the first floor and will include a initial starter pack of detergent for your stay. *Additional detergent will need to be purchased or brought down on your own should you wish to do more loads of laundry.*
The owners suite (master) with new carpet (2023) is located on the second floor up a whimsical spiraled staircase and features a king bed, vaulted ceiling, flat screen TV, and an oversized ensuite bathroom with tile floors, double sinks, and a separate tub and shower.
Finally, should you wish to grill out on a lovely evening, there are 6 gas grills located throughout the community for guest use. There is also a small children’s playground located behind the main central pool and several swings to relax on by the lagoon areas.

Getting around
It is so easy to walk anywhere you want to go. You truly don't have to use your car unless you want to. The locked beach gate access allows you to wander up to Coligny plaza by foot or by bike for dining, shopping, or nightlife…same with walking a direct line up the two blocks on Ibis Road to the beach. Walking and bike paths meander through Shipyard as a whole and makes it easy to get around as the terrain is flat and comfortable for all types of people.
