Coffee on the wraparound porch, breakfast for ten at the island, the cliffs going pink at sunset from the back deck. Wild Turkey is a modern farmhouse built for the kind of family trip you don't want to end — six bedrooms, three full bathrooms, sleeping for 14 on Zion's quiet East side. Twenty-five minutes from Zion National Park's East Entrance and one hour from Bryce Canyon, with red rock cliffs framed in nearly every window and a chef's kitchen big enough to actually cook in. The kind of trip the whole family talks about for years.
THE MAIN LEVEL The chef's kitchen is the heart of the house — an oversized island that seats five, double wall ovens, an induction cooktop, a pot filler over the range, a deep farmhouse sink, and a custom copper hood, with cliff views filling the windows over the sink. The formal dining table seats eight, so the whole crew eats together. The living room frames the cliffs through floor-to-ceiling windows. The primary king bedroom sits on this floor with its own ensuite, a vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams, and pasture-and-mountain views. A second full bath serves the rest of the main level.
UPSTAIRS Four more bedrooms and a full bath make the upstairs its own world: two king bedrooms, a queen, and a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks built for the kids. The upstairs library is the surprise of the house — built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a deep collection of books and puzzles, and a sleeper sofa that turns the room into a sixth sleeping space. There's also an office nook with a desk facing red rock cliffs, for the morning you swore you'd answer email.
OUTDOOR LIVING This is where the trip slows down. The upper deck wraps around the back of the home with a covered side dining area facing the cliffs and an open back section built around a propane fire pit lounge and a propane BBQ. After dark the back deck becomes the main event — Orderville is far enough from city lights that the Milky Way is part of the nightly view. Below the deck on a private lower patio, the hot tub sits year-round with cliff views of its own. The home looks out over a quiet hay field with the cliff line beyond.
EXTRAS A foosball room off the entry, an upright piano in the landing, smart TVs in the living room and all three king bedrooms (sign into your own apps), a mudroom with cubbies, and a dedicated laundry room. Wi-Fi throughout. Two-zone HVAC means upstairs and downstairs can run at different temperatures. Note: the indoor fireplace is decorative only, not for guest use.
