Poolside Cabaña studio with stunning ocean view - Puerto Escondido

Studio for two, just above Playa Manzanillo, the beach with the calmest waters in Puerto Escondido. Built alongside a pool with a stunning ocean view, the cabaña features a full kitchen, solar hot water shower, ample closet space, built in lock box for your valuables, and a Starlink WiFi connection.

We're just a 10 minute walk to the restaurants & shops of either Rinconada, or El Adoquín. Playas Carrizalillo & Zicatela are just a few minutes further.

The space
Our home is located on a calm street with low traffic, in an area called Manzanillo Reef 2, above Manzanillo beach. There are only a few houses in our neighborhood.

Please keep in mind that you may hear noise from outside our property. Whether it’s music, animals, people on the beach, or whatever… We cannot control outside noise. If you want a quick place please consider booking outside the city.

Our property consists of a beautiful lush garden, a refreshing salt water pool, our home and two cabañas that we rent year round.

We also have two very loving orange tabby cats named Angela and Cirina.

Guest access
Guests have a dedicated entrance & path to the cabaña, and are free to roam a large area of the garden, and of course, the swimming pool! Occasionally we'll welcome our guests up to our palapa bar around sunset.

If you have wheels, there's plenty of street parking.

Other things to note
There is no A/C, but the cabaña is designed to be cooled by the sea breeze and a ceiling fan. Its ceilings are high, the floors are cool concrete, the windows and doors have mosquito screens with no glass. The Pacific breeze is exceedingly refreshing. For days where the breeze isn't adequate the salt water pool is perfect for cooling off.

We have a large garden with many plants. While we fumigated regularly, every three months, we cannot control the environment outside of our property. Meaning there will be mosquitoes, ants, spiders, scorpions and many other insects at the property.

We work remotely, so we've installed Starlink. Speeds range from 20Mbps - 250Mbps, more than adequate for any work you'll need to do during your stay in Puerto Escondido.

Please be aware that WiFi in Puerto Escondido is problematic. If an internet connection is really important to you, we encourage you to look up the article "Internet in Paradise" on Viva Puerto magazine's website. It was published in early 2021 and will help you understand the reality of internet connectivity anywhere else you might choose to stay in the Puerto Escondido area.

Also problematic in Puerto Escondido is the power. There can be power outages in Puerto that last from 5 mins to 3 hours. They can be caused by any number of reasons but do not worry it always comes back on.
