*Stairs are required for entry at both the front and back. One bedroom is on the 1st floor with a full bath nearby, while two more are on the 2nd floor, accessed by steep stairs due to 11-foot ceilings.

Make your stay a stress-free experience by following our house rules:
✓ Check-in time is at 4PM-10PM and check-out time is before 10AM to allow us to prepare for the next guests.
✓ Parties or events are not permitted on the property, and noise levels must be kept down after 10PM until 8AM to maintain a peaceful environment. Penalties may apply in the case of any damage or mess caused during your stay.
✓ To maintain a harmonious environment for all our guests, we have a strict ‘no pets’ policy.
✓ To ensure a healthy and pleasant stay for everyone, we maintain a strict no-smoking policy. This policy encompasses traditional smoking, vaping, and the use of electronic cigarettes.

Please refer to the 'Additional Rules' section for all house rules. This will help avoid any possible misunderstandings.

❇️PLEASE NOTE❇️: we are located on a main street in a busy urban city. Because of our prime location, you WILL hear street noise from pedestrians and vehicles. Also, being across from the tennis courts, you will also hear noise from the matches taking place as well as practice sessions. But, they are fun to watch!!

Savannah’s sub-tropical climate means hot, humid summers and occasional bugs. While The Abilene is regularly treated by pest control, we can’t eliminate all these elements.

Please consider these factors, as we do not offer refunds based on these conditions.

Guests will have full access to the entire home and will be provided keyless entry codes on the day their reservation starts.

There are stairs to access the home from both the front and back of the home. Only one bedroom is located on the 1st floor with a full bath down the hall. Two other bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor and the stairs are steep due to the soaring 11 foot ceilings. Please keep this in mind while booking.

The Abilene is located in Savannah's Southern Historic & Victorian District and directly across from the iconic Forsyth Park.

Walking is truly the best way to see the beauty of Savannah. However, there are multiple ways to get around town be it via an Uber/Lyft, a Mokie or opt to take the City's free trolley, The Dot. The Dot picks up 2 blocks north of The Abilene and does a loop around town.

Our location is superb! It is located just across from the iconic Forsyth Park which attracts millions of visitors a year and on one of the primary streets in Savannah. HOWEVER, with the location also comes foot traffic and street noise. Guest should expect noise from pedestrians, folks enjoying the park, as well as vehicles from Drayton St. Although there is not as much traffic at night, you WILL hear cars and trucks passing by.

Additionally, Savannah is a sub-tropical climate. This means it gets extremely hot & humid in the summer and there ARE bugs. The Abilene is consistently treated by a pest control service however, we cannot control the overall environment that is Savannah.

Please consider these circumstances if you feel this may be an issue for your overall comfort & enjoyment because we do not offer refunds based on these items.
