Hi, we’re Derek & Samantha, and along with our two children, we’ve called Knoxville home for over a decade. We’ve always loved exploring, unplugging, and working throughout the Smoky Mountains, and we created The Nord Pine to share that love of the area with others. “Nord” comes from the Old Norse word for north, a nod to our New England roots near Boston. We hope your stay helps you slow down, enjoy the views, and make memories that bring you back again and again!
