How long does it take for a pending direct booking to expire on Houfy?

Stripe and Square users both have 48 hours to accept a Pending Direct booking before it expires.

A pending booking request is meant to expire 48 hours after the guest sends it, at which point Houfy declines it automatically and releases the hold on the guest's card. Accepting the request before then captures the funds.

If a request has been sitting longer than 48 hours and is still pending, contact support - do not assume the hold has been released.
