Bend vacation rentals

We originally were supposed to be a party of 3, but our friends decided to join us last minute. The home had plenty of space to accommodate all of us (4 adults and 2 12 year old boys) with room left over. The neighborhood is adorable, with lots of kids playing around (be mindful of speed), and felt very safe. Nighttime was peaceful without being disturbed by traffic because the home is set back from a major street, yet it’s still very close to amenities (groceries, gas, restaurants). Kitchen was well stocked with amenities and extras for mornings before skiing and meal prep afterwards. We found the foosball table to provide A LOT of entertainment in the evening for the group which made for some fun times. There’s also an air hockey table in the loft which was fun as well. Bathrooms were quite nice with good water pressure in both showers (something we find VERY important). Lastly, the beds were great. They were comfortable, the linens were soft, and warm, and there were enough pillows. I have stayed at other rentals that have failed miserably in this category, so I’m always one to comment on bed quality. This home hit the mark, which is a huge bonus when you’re exhausted after a long day at Bachelor! Would recommend to anyone this rental. We were abundantly happy with our visit!

What a lovely home! This quiet abode far surpassed our expectations. It is located on a quiet street, yet an easy walk to the river, downtown and local eateries/breweries. The home appears to be completely renovated and beautifully decorated with such attention to details that it felt both welcoming and luxurious. It was a perfect place to relax after busy days enjoying the many outdoor activities of Bend. The outdoor patio made for quiet mornings drinking coffee and evenings sipping wine with our furry friend. We have stayed in many VRBO's. McKay's Getaway was a favorite for our whole family. It had all the comforts for us and our fourteen year olds, yet it would have been equally beautiful and charming for families with small children or as an adult getaway. It had the amenities and luxuries of a five star hotel with the practicality and ambiance of a home. We hope to return but stay for longer in the future. -Cally, Craig, Bryn and Harper
