Worldwide acclaimed author Alexandros Papadiamantis' House Museum is preserved and maintained as an example of classic island architecture is open to the public, offering display of Skiathian relics, original furniture, as well as personal objects. Papadiamantis' literary work offers in-depth insight into 19th century Skaithos island life and is mentioned alongside Hardy and Maupassant.
This museum is dedicated to Skiathos Island’s most prominent son, Alexandros Papadiamantis, the internationally acclaimed author of poetry, novels and short-stories.
