Our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge was lovely. The cabin is well appointed, large, and comfortable and provides endless opportunities to be well entertained. We most enjoyed the outdoor space. The weather was very cool so having a fireplace and outdoor curtains was perfect, you could still enjoy being out of doors without being cold. There were 2 barbeques, one in the open air and one in a covered space which was very handy the day it rained and we could still grill our dinner. Loved that part!! As far as inside of the cabin goes, the kitchen was just wonderful, well stocked with small appliances and plenty of cooking and dining accessories. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and cabin was very clean. The wildlife is also a big draw for us since we are animal lovers. There is bird seed provided for feeding and we filled all the feeders every day. Beautiful birds of a large variety and even a book for Arizona Bids was provided so you would know what kind of birds were dining from the amazing back patio. We also fed a couple different varieties of squirrels, they were hilarious. A couple of days we had a small group of Elk visit and when we ran out of the fruit we brought for them we tried a non-traditional fruit, Banana’s, the Elk were all over that. LOL! They loved the bananas. What a hoot. We had a small adventure when a little bird managed to enter our cabin and we couldn’t catch it. Our hosts sent someone right away to catch the little fella and set him free. So yes, we had a fabulous week and will be back as soon as we can. Our hosts were the best and very responsive. Thanks again for a magnificent week.

I absolutely love when I get the opportunity to visit PHX and stay at the casita! The space is meticulously cleaned, and has everything you need for a great stay. Carrie is a pleasure to communicate with, and makes check-in and check-out a breeze. I love spending time with her sweet dogs! I highly recommend staying here!

We’ve stayed at the park house twice now. The first stay was so great, we chose to stay again. As long as there is availabilit, we plan to make this our main place to stay when we visit the area. The host/hostess are so friendly and accommodating. Although you are renting a room and shared bathroom the stay feels more like home.

Daniel and his family were very welcoming and accommodating as I had a later-than-usual check-in and my stay was only to be for 1 night. Daniel's instructions on how to self-check-in were very easy to understand and, although he was there to greet me, I could have easily found my way around. Daniel was also very helpful in recommending a restaurant close by where I could order dinner at that late hour. Turns out it is a restaurant I have eaten at a few times before and would also recommend. I found the room to be very well-appointed. It had a mini fridge & microwave, TV trays, and even a luggage rack to place my overnight bag on, which surprised me, and a very comfy bed. For a shared bath, it was kept very clean and the coffee/snack bar was a welcome sight in the morning as it was stocked with fruit & croissants. All in all, it was a very pleasant, albeit brief, stay. I would certainly recommend Daniel's place to anyone visiting the Prescott Valley area.

We have been renting homes in the Phoenix area for Spring Training for around 15 years and this was one of the best we have stayed in. The home was very comfortable, including the beds, and the amenities were above and beyond our expectations. Aside from perishable food, the owner stocks this home with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The extra little touches from the owner make it that more inviting. There is a welcome sign, robes in all bedrooms, blankets outside for cool nights, etc. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. We would have loved to use the pool but it is not heated and was too cold while we were there. We did enjoy the fire pit and the outdoor seating area with TV. We enjoy taking morning walks to get coffee and this home is located close to both a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, which pleased all of us. The owner is very accessible and replies to any requests you have quickly. One of us had misplaced a money clip, with cash, and we were never able to find it. The cleaning crew found it, alerted the owner, who alerted me and is going to ship it back to us. To me, this is a perfect example of the honesty and integrity displayed by the owner and the outside services they use while not at their home. We would highly recommend this rental and will look to stay here again if available next year.

We have stayed at numerous VRBO/air bnb homes on our family getaways. This house was well equipped with all the essentials anyone world need. Nice open floor house. The rooms were spread nicely throughout the home. Beds were comfortable and more than enough pillows. It was nice to see there were extra blankets if needed in each of the closets. Host went above and beyond with making sure instructions/directions were clear and understandable. Even had local attractions and nearby land marks in a binder for things to do. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.

This house was perfect for a 4 night getaway with my friend to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The mountain views from the master bedroom balcony and upper balcony are spectacular. We enjoyed each having our own private bedroom and bath although this home could comfortably accommodate a family of 6 with the floor plan and layout. I’ve rented many VRBO properties and typically stay at AAA 4 diamond or higher rated hotels when I travel. I would honestly rate this property on par with a AAA 4 diamond rating for the amenities, quality and cleanliness. I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s one of the best VRBO rental experiences I’ve ever had. The property was impeccable and the kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. We didn’t have any problems but the owner was very attentive and even added special touches to make our birthday celebration special (fresh roses, champagne and a s’mores kit 😊). The outdoor hot tub, fire pit and lighting gave the place a resort feel without the daily fee. Beautifully decorated with tons of high quality towels, sheets, bathrobes and comfortable pillows/mattresses. Tucked away on a quiet street but close to all the best Sedona has to offer. Why stay at a resort when you can have this spacious, beautiful property all to yourself? I hope to come back again sometime when I need a break from the east coast with my husband and kids.
