Check-In Instructions - Blue Sails
Check-in is after 4:00 P.M.
- If you arrive after 11:30 A.M. but before 4:00 P.M., you may enjoy the dock. Do not ask the cleaner for permission to enter the home for any reason.
- We love to offer early check-in, if possible, but gratis early check-in is not guaranteed and cannot be requested until two days before check-in. If you want a guarantee of early check-in, we might be able to lock it in with payment of an additional fee.
- Early check-in can rarely, if ever, be offered in-season. If your access code is active, and the cleaner is finished, you may enter early.
Home Access
You will be provided a code for the Schlage Encode deadbolt on the front door. This code is typically the last four digits of the booking guest's telephone number.
There is a second lock on the front door. If it is accidentally engaged, locking your party out, you will find a key hanging from a clip in the screened porch near the master bedroom door. Additional keys to that secondary front door lock are hanging in the laundry room. These keys do not unlock the lower level door.
Required Notifications
- The day before check in - Notify Kate of your estimated time of arrival.
- After inspection - Once you've inspected Lake Anna Blue Sails, text Kate to let her know:
- Everything meets your approval
- or Something needs attention.
- or You have a question.
- Problems at Lake Anna Blue Sails should be reported to Kate immediately.
Parking
Seven vehicles can park in the driveways and parking pads without ever having to shuttle around for departing visitors. There's plenty of more room to park additional cars if you don't mind moving for someone to get out. There's even room to drop the boat trailer.
The garage is not available for parking, even for immediate loading and unloading. The door opener is located by the door leading into the laundry room. Always use the automatic opener to raise and lower the garage door.

If there is anything that could make your vacation more enjoyable, just let Kate know - she may be able to supply it.
