Traveling Solo - I've been traveling throughout the Riviera Maya and never once felt unsafe. A condo works well for me because I don't like eating alone in a restaurant. I'd rather do take-out or just make something simple in m own space. But, I do want security. Xaman ha condos have 24 hour security guards and it's located in the residential, gated community of Playacar Phase 1. Despite that, it's only a 4 minute walk to downtown and 5th Avenue.

I'm usually working and I need a dedicated, secure, WIFI during my stay. That's another reason I select a good condo. Hotels have so many dead spots and it's not always secure. The rebar and concrete construction of the buildings does not lend itself to good wifi.

The Yucatan Peninsula is one of the most popular areas for those who are visiting Mexico and whether you are heading to one of the large resort cities such as Cancun in the Riviera Maya, or looking to get a little further off the beaten track, it is an attractive place to explore.
