The Rosca de Reyes bread celebrates the arrival of the 3 Kings to Bethlehem upon the Saviors birth in Christian religions. You will see the breads stacked high in Walmart in early January in anticipation of the event. Each person cuts their own slice and the one who gets a piece of Rosca with the baby figurine is expected to host a party on Día de la Candelaria (Candlemas), which is celebrated on February 2nd.
