Ipanema Brazilian Steakhouse

We visited this restaurant in early January of 2020. It's located on 10th Avenue between 10th and 12th Calles. We were surprised to find only 4 other patrons in the restaurant, but by the time we left there were many more people. The food was delicious!!

If you're familiar with Brazilian steakhouses, you know that they have a large "salad bar". We found it to be less about salad and more about side dishes in general. There is something for everyone, even someone with several food allergies, like me. I especially enjoyed the candied yams. The main course is a parade of different types of meat. We found most of them to be quite tasty but we did pass on a few. I passed on the sweetbread. If you're not familiar that is cooked pancreas and thymus glands from pork, I think. I also passed on some spicy sausage, but other sausage was yummy.
