What to expect when you go:

It's in the middle of the AZ desert. It's going to be HOT starting around April through the end of October. There is no way around it. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. Take plenty water for you and everyone in your party. Wear sunscreen.

This goes without saying as they can be super painful to encounter. It's Arizona so be sure to stay away from cactus!
