Use this convenient site for all the beach information you will need while staying at The Sand Bucket at Seaside. It lists all the access points for vehicular traffic (yes, there are spots that you can drive on the beach) and all the foot paths for access to the beach.
The Beaches of St Augustine. In a word - fabulous. Perfect soft sand, warm water, rolling waves and unprecedented access makes the beach scene in St Augustine amazing. Parking? - Plenty Walkovers? Everywhere Drive on Beach? - Amazingly yes. Miles and miles of uncrowded sandy beach? Yep. So where do we start?

The Press
The Press is tucked at the end of a strip shopping center about 9 miles from The Sand Bucket, but another one that is definitely worth the drive. Owned an operated by a local family, it is an outstanding casual, small eatery with a great selection of craft beers, wine, and simple fresh homemade American food. As the name implies, they serve burgers nestled inside of wonderful homemade brioche buns, but the menu offers much more. The evening specials include steaks and occasionally you might find Beef Wellington being offered. If you can arrive early or late for lunch, do so! The Press is small. I would suggest early for dinner if you can. And do not leave without trying the Bread Pudding for dessert - AWESOMENESS!
