Getting around

The cabin is a short, 1 mile drive down a gravel road after you exit the highway. Within an hour radius is McGregor, Palisade, Tamarack, Moose Lake, Aitkin, and Grand Rapids. Only 90 minutes to Duluth and 2.5 hours to the Twin Cities.

The road is maintained by the county and the cabin's driveway is plowed by a dependable, local service. There is plenty of parking on the driveway or in the 2-car insulated & heated garage.

Guest will be provided with check-instructions the week of arrival. Instructions will include a 4 digit access code for the smart locks of the home and garage doors.

Occupancy limit applies to all overnight guests, including children. Daytime guest limit is 8.

House Rules

1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM; Guest(s) must refrain from loud party noises, music, etc.
2. Guest(s) cannot hold events/parties on the premises
3. Maximum number of overnight guests: 4; maximum number of non-overnight guests: 4; for a total of 8 daytime guests
4. No discharge of firearms or explosives, and no use of fireworks
5. No pets allowed inside the house/garage or outdoors kept on the property
6. No smoking/vaping inside the home or garage
7. No guest parking allowed on roads in the vicinity
8. Do not store or dispose of garbage outside
9. Respect the neighbors’ posted signs (e.g., no trespassing, no hunting)
