But if they can bear to leave their lost valley, Bolgheri (famous wineries like Sassicaia), Populonia, Baratti, San Vincenzo and Piombino (ferry to Elba island) are all no more than 50 kilometres away for some inspiring day trips. On request it is possible to rent bikes, to have a chef at home, go trekking, taste wines or spend one day in the amazing and relaxing thermal bath of Sassetta which is only 2 kilometers from the property inside the forest..
