Villa Hedy 2 Maonia - Merano

A bright, newly built apartment located in the heart of the mountain spa town of Merano, a short walk from the Terme di Merano. This stylishly furnished property is quietly situated on the second floor (with a lift) and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. The accommodation benefits from air conditioning, underfloor heating and three balconies that overlook the surrounding mountains. The building also has a communal terrace, where guests can sunbathe in the summer.

The living area, which looks out to a balcony with two chairs is furnished with a wall-mounted, satellite TV, a large built-in storage space and a comfortable sofa bed. The kitchen / dining area opens onto a small balcony through large glass doors and is fully equipped with an induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer, dining table and four chairs.

Bedroom: The airy bedroom has sliding glass doors that open onto a Juliet balcony and is beautifully furnished with a double bed and bedside table

Extra: There is a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room

Location

Known for its spas, thermal baths and mild climate, the historical town of Merano is popular with cyclists and hikers in the Spring and Summer. There are many mountain and river walks nearby, including Sissi’s path. Named after the late Empress Elisabeth of Austria, this path starts in the center of town and takes walkers on a beautiful trail through the Tyrolian countryside to the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

The snow-covered slopes in Southern Tyrol are 15 minutes away by car and popular during the Winter months with over 100 km of Piste for Skiing and snowboarding. Merano 2000, the famous Val Senales Glacier (Schnalstaler), San Nicolo and Monte San Vigilio are all a short drive away and cater to all levels from professionals to beginners. Piazza Del Grano, the historical centre of Merano and Via dei Portici are popular for Après ski, guests can visit the local boutiques or settle in one of the many bars or bistros and watch the world go by.
