This booking combines our two beloved homes: the sun-drenched Pool House with its sparkling private pool, and the rustic Creek House with its magical outdoor shower. Gather by the pool, relax by the creek, cook and share meals, knowing you each have a private, fully-equipped home to retreat to. It’s the perfect blend of connection and privacy for couples or friends holidaying together.

When you book The Duo, you get exclusive access to two completely separate and fully-featured one-bedroom homes on our serene hinterland property. Both homes have been designed with your ultimate comfort in mind, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of.

THE POOL HOUSE is a sun-drenched oasis centred around its stunning private pool. The open-plan living area has a cozy electric fireplace, a 65-inch 4K TV, and a library of books and games. For year-round comfort, it is fully equipped with two reverse-cycle air conditioners (lounge and bedroom).

The chef's kitchen has everything you need, including an electric BBQ on the deck.

The luxurious bedroom features an incredibly comfortable king-sized bed, a full menu of premium pillows, high-quality linens, and plush Sheridan towels.

THE CREEK HOUSE is a rustic cottage perched meters from the soothing sounds of Snows Creek, with an unforgettable outdoor shower. The cottage includes a romantic electric fireplace, a library, and a true cook's kitchen, also with an electric BBQ on the deck. It's kept comfortable in all seasons with two reverse-cycle air conditioners (lounge and bedroom).

The peaceful bedroom has a comfy king bed with its own premium pillow menu, high-quality linens, and lovely Sheridan towels, where you can fall asleep to the sound of the creek.

The entire retreat is exclusively yours. When you book The Duo, you and your group have private and uninterrupted access to everything on the property. This includes both the Pool House and the Creek House, the sparkling swimming pool, all decks and outdoor areas, the lush gardens, and the beautiful creek itself. You will not be sharing the property with any other guests. Enjoy complete freedom and privacy.

Your privacy is our highest priority. We designed Snows Creek Retreat to be your own completely private world, and we do not live on the property. You will have an uninterrupted escape from the moment you arrive.

A private vehicle is essential for enjoying your stay at Snows Creek Retreat. While other transport options may be technically available, they are not practical for our secluded location in the heart of the hinterland.
Driving to the Property:
The final part of your journey is on a classic unsealed country road, which is part of the authentic hinterland adventure. The road is well-maintained and suitable for a standard 2WD vehicle in all weather conditions. We always advise taking it slow to enjoy the beautiful scenery, navigate any bumps with ease, and be mindful of our local wildlife, especially around dawn and dusk.
Parking:
Once you arrive, we provide secure, private, and complimentary parking on-site, just steps from your front door.
Ride-Sharing & Taxis:
While ride-sharing services (like Uber) and local taxis are available in the broader region, it's important for guests to know that fares to and from our secluded property are extremely expensive due to the distance from town centers. Wait times can also be significant and availability is not always guaranteed. For these reasons, we strongly recommend having your own vehicle for a more cost-effective and reliable experience.
Exploring the Region:
With your car, our retreat serves as the perfect, peaceful base for exploring the region's stunning natural beauty. Enjoy scenic drives to nearby attractions like the spectacular Minyon Falls or wander through the charming hinterland villages of Federal, Bangalow, and Newrybar, all just a picturesque journey away.
In summary, to make the most of your peaceful escape and explore all that the Byron Bay Hinterland has to offer, please plan on having your own car for the entire duration of your visit.

A WARM WELCOME FOR PETS
We genuinely love hosting your furry friends! To ensure the retreat remains pristine for all guests, we just ask you to follow a few house rules. FURNITURE: Please keep pets off beds and sofas. If you know your pet loves to cuddle, you must bring your own blankets to cover our furniture completely. CANE TOADS: As with any rural property in this area, cane toads may be present. Their poison is highly toxic to dogs. Please ensure your pet is supervised at all times and does not interact with any toads. RAT BAIT: We use pet-proof bait stations to manage rodents, which are a natural part of the ecosystem. While securely placed, it is still possible for a dog to find a poisoned rodent. We kindly ask that you keep an eye on your pet and contact a vet immediately if they show any signs of illness.CLEANLINESS: Please clean up after your pet, both inside and out. To avoid extra cleaning fees, please ensure pets are clean and dry before coming inside.

THE JOURNEY TO YOUR RETREAT
Our beautiful, secluded location is part of the magic. The final stretch of the journey is on a classic unsealed hinterland road. It's well-maintained and suitable for any standard 2WD or 4WD vehicle, but we advise taking it slow to enjoy the scenery and navigate any bumps. Be aware that our local wildlife (wallabies and birds) are not car-savvy and can be unpredictable, so please drive with care, especially at dawn and dusk.

CONNECTIVITY IN THE HINTERLAND
To help you fully unwind, please note there is no mobile phone reception in our valley. We highly recommend turning on your "Wi-Fi Calling" feature before you arrive; our fast Wi-Fi will then allow your phone to work seamlessly. Please have your driving directions loaded before you leave the main highway.

KEEPING YOUR SANCTUARY PERFECT
To ensure the property is always at its best, our maintenance team may need to visit during your stay. This includes our gardener or pool technician. Your privacy is their absolute priority. They are professional, discreet, and trained to work in a way that minimises any impact on your stay.
