About this place
A boutique base for adventure and connection.
Our private 1-bedroom guest unit is located at the intersection of the suburbs of New Lynn, Green Bay and Titirangi. 25 mins from Auckland Airport and 25 mins to Auckland CBD by car. 7 mins away is Lynn Mall which is New Zealand’s first ever shopping centre offering memorable dining, shopping and leisure experiences. Buses stop at the driveway and trains linking to all parts of Auckland are just 5 mins away by car.
The space
The unit is newly renovated beneath our family home. It has its own access down the driveway, around the garage with concrete pathways leading to the sliding doors. Guests have shared access to patio, pergola and back gardens. The unit has modern kitchenette with all new appliances which includes bar fridge, electric hot plate, toaster, hot water jug, microwave oven and air fryer.
Cutlery, plates/bowls, cups, glasses, wine glasses, induction pot and pan are provided. We supply tea, coffee, sugar , milk and some welcome snacks.
The En-suite bathroom(accessible through bedroom) is modern, with a shower, toilet and vanity with large mirror. Hair drier is available. There is no washing or drying facilities as laundromats are just 5mins away in all directions to the unit.
Iron and ironing board supplied.
Laundry services for long-term stays are available at a cost of $10/load for washing and $20/load for drying (Total - $30/load). Clothes Airer is available upon request plus guests are welcome to use the outdoor clothes line.
The open plan living area has an air conditioning unit, a 40” LED Full HD Smart Android TV, a dedicated study area with high speed broadband and a dining table for 4 people.
The lounge has a corner sofa and a sofa bed. A pull out bed is also available for extra guest.
Bedroom has a double bed, single bed and a dressing table with mirror and drawers.
We provide linen, bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, toiletries, body wash, conditioner and hand wash.
Out door dining is always a possibility if the weather is fine.
Guest access
There is ample on-street parking available. Parking on site is available at your request for one(1) small car or small SUV.
The property is located at the end of the driveway. Guests walk down the driveway and take a left turn around the garage of the main house. Then they walk around the house on the concrete pathway which leads to the sliding door of the Guest Unit.
