Hi, we're Deanna & Brennan, owners of South Lake Sunrise and Mom & Dad to 3 boys aged 7 and under. After both growing up on PEI and moving away for university, we were both happy to move back to Eastern PEI and call it our forever home. In 2013, we bought our home and a few years later, bought the home right next door, your vacation home! Both homes share a massive yard and a beautiful view of South Lake & the Northumberland Strait, a view we will never tire of or take for granted.
We’ve tried to make the cottage feel like a true home away from home -- clean, calm, and stocked with thoughtful extras.
Over the last 8 years, we have hosted dozens of families and have been proud Superhosts for all years! Our goal? That you leave more rested, more connected, and already planning your return.

Getting around
South Lake Sunrise is located on the quiet east end of PEI, about 15 minutes from the town of Souris and just a few minutes from local beaches and scenic spots like Basin Head and East Point Lighthouse.
Down the road is Elliott's Grocery where you'll find everything you need - from groceries to hardware, fire wood, liquor, snacks, they have it all!
A vehicle is essential to get around comfortably.
There is no public transportation in this part of the Island, but the roads are easy to navigate and incredibly scenic.

From Charlottetown Airport (YYG):
~1 hour by car
From Wood Islands Ferry (if coming via Nova Scotia):
~1 hour 15 minutes by car
From the Confederation Bridge (via NB):
~1 hour 45 minutes by car
