75 km east of Kemijärvi, in Sallatunturi Tourist Centre.
Silver log cabin, built in 2007, combined kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each (in one bedroom beds are made upon as double bed). Six beds on the loft (2 of them separately in their own corner). Electric sauna, washroom with 2 showers, dressing room, toilet, open porch. Floorspace 130 m² + loft 30 m². Grill hut about 20 m² for 10-15 persons. On June will built new cottage in same yard, which should be ready by beginning of August. There will build other cottage in same yard on summer 2020. Building works won´t do during reservations. Spacious silverlog chalet made from sturdy logs, close to all Sallatunturi services.
Cottage equipment includes mechanical ventilation, air source heat pump (with cooling in summer time), tumble dryer, ice cube maker, extra fridge in sauna-area, Harman/Kardon digital music player, 2 travel cots, 12 snow sledges, books, board games, Xbox 360 game console and dvd discs. Wifi internet access. Note! Final cleaning is included the price after 20.2.2020 made new reservations.

Easily accessible by train (with a car) from South-Finland to Kemijärvi, just continue by car 75 km to the cottage Sallatunturi.

Programme services and restaurant 200 m (for example Arctic Circle Safaris, Kiela Restaurant and Pub Papana Pupi, Spa Hotel Revontuli 600 m, Sallatunturi ski slopes 700 m, Salla Reindeer Park 3,5 km.

The key holder is expecting you to collect the key between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless otherwise mentioned in your travel documents. Please contact the key holder if you are arriving at a different time and have not made alternative arrangements. You must vacate the property by 10 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise mentioned in your travel documents. Required data can be given before arrival and therefore the arrival procedure is quicker and more convenient. Additional services can also be booked securely. Is pre check-in secure? Credit card details are entered in a secure area of Computop (industry leader in the world of payment). We don’t keep any credit card details, only a secure alias. Personal data is kept secure and is not used for marketing purposes. Why do I need to supply my credit card details again? The payment of the reservation and the payment of the extra costs on the spot are two separate transactions. It is comparable to paying for a hotel booking in advance and then paying for the extra costs of the mini-bar on the spot by credit card.

Payment Policy

There are two ways to pay for your booking:

1. Credit card (VISA or Mastercard)
2. Invoice

For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival only credit cards are accepted.

A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit

The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.

The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.

What happens to my breakage deposit?

The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your booking by phone, post or eMail. Your cancellation comes into effect on the date of receipt of your notification.

If you withdraw from the contract, we will invoice you the following cancellation charges:

A) up to 43 days before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental
B) 42 to 29 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental
C) 28 to 2 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental
D) 1 day before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental

Yes, it is possible to change your booking, as long as the desired holiday house/period is still available. There may be a fee to change your booking.
