Quiet location with fantastic sea views
In the sunny west of the island, above the small town of Puntagorda, lies the beautiful Finca Topo del Drago. Built around 1910 at an altitude of approx. 800 metres, the house has been carefully renovated with great attention to detail and a bathroom and bedroom have been added. The terrace and living room offer magnificent views of the sea, the municipality of Puntagorda and the mesmerising sunsets.
The holiday home stands on a 2800 square metre plot with pine, almond and fig trees in the middle of a peaceful, beautiful setting. You can relax under the almond trees on the garden loungers in the shade or soak up the sun on the lawn.
Lovingly furnished, you can expect a sophisticated living ambience on more than 90 square metres of living space. A spacious living area with a beautiful dining area and the typical open Canarian roof construction give the house a special charm. The finca is equipped with Internet, German SAT TV, Internet with Wlan and radio. A home cinema stereo system with five DVD/CD/MP3 players is available for listening to music. The kitchen with its traditional curved wooden beams and beautiful worktop will tempt you to cook. Equipped with a three-burner ceramic hob and electric convection oven, you can cook or bake anything your heart desires. A fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and blender are provided, as well as pots, cutlery and crockery for up to 8 people. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, allow up to 4 people to enjoy a comfortable holiday. In addition, one of the bedrooms is equipped with a small sitting area so that you can relax and read. There is also a small CD player. The beds measure 2.00 m x 1.50 m (double bed) and 2.00 m x 0.90 m (single beds). The spacious bathroom, furnished with exquisite tiles, is a real wellness oasis. Furnished with a bathtub and separate shower, it offers you real pleasure. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available here. The house is equipped with gas central heating. The domestic hot water is heated by a solar system. There is also a wood-burning stove in the living area, which provides cosy warmth. Two beautiful terraces and an inner courtyard sheltered from the wind invite you to enjoy the sun. Sunshade and garden furniture for 4 persons are also included in the equipment of the house. Arrival from 2 p.m. Departure by 10 a.m. The nearest hikes start directly from the house, for example to the "Roque de los Muchachos", the highest point on the island with its observatories. The surrounding beaches can be reached by car within 20 to 45 minutes. Puntagorda, with its shops, various restaurants, an outdoor pool and a bank, is just 5 minutes away. 300 metres above the house is the sparse pine forest, which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Other hiking trails start from there, for example to the archaeological sites of La Zarza.
