LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

This beautiful craftsman-style home is located in Lake Lure Village Resort, a private, gated community that began as a children’s summer camp. This getaway is nestled between beautiful Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Mountain, with over 1,000 acres of undeveloped land. It is perfect for all activity levels, from easy walking to rock rappelling. This home is 3 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 3.4 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 21.5 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Plan to spend your nights watching deer, wild turkeys, owls, and flying squirrels, but please do not feed the bears! A waterfall and several creeks are located within the community, and there is also a hiking trail. Lake Life Living also offers Lake Lure access just a short drive from the home, with a canoe at the lakeside for your use.

In the home, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on 2 levels, an open kitchen, and living area with lots of windows, a beautiful large stone fireplace, private office room with a glass door for those who need to work while away from home, spacious side deck with beautiful mountain views allowing you and your family plenty of privacy and an abundance of space with maximum comfort.
