Right in the heart of the lovely historical center of Pistoia is a well appointed small apartment on the 1st floor of a historical palazzo. The wood beams and stone bathtub keep the rustic charm but have been fully restored. There is a small kitchen and a good sized bathroom with a washing machine. Up the stairs of the mezzanine floor you will find a queen sized bed for two. On the main floor of the studio apartment is another queen bed that is a very comfortable murphy bed for the convenience of creating more space during the day should you need it. The apartment sleeps 4 people total but is best suited for 2-3.
Just steps from the apartment you will find wonderful shops, coffee shops and restaurants. The Pistoia market days are every Wednesday and Saturday and it is fun to walk with the rest of the town as they peruse the offerings and say hi to friends. It is a very lively, very Italian time to be in town and we highly suggest you plan for that. In the evenings after aperitif time and before dinner, you'll find many friendly townsfolk walking in the centro with friends and loved ones. The Italians call this time the Passagiata and it is not to be missed. In fact, a lovely time to walk is during the golden hour as the sun is setting.
