In the heart of nature, this is a wonderful holiday destination, surrounded by beautiful countryside, but only 40 minutes from the coast.
On a raised ground floor the house sleeps 5 people. All the rooms lead off a central, panelled hallway with a large wood-burning stove and armchairs. The airy living room has two comfortable leather sofas and an armchair, with carved wooden furniture and a flat-screen TV. French windows lead out onto the balcony which looks out over the terrace.
The large, separate kitchen has a wooden dining table for 6 people. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and toaster.
The outside areas have been as thoughtfully arranged as the interiors. At the front of the house, there is a sunny terrace with a sofa and armchairs. On the lawn, shaded by a young tree, there is an attractive wooden table, with benches and stools, an idyllic spot for a picnic. From here guests can enjoy the view of the stunning Velebit mountains.
There is also a traditional cottage in the garden which has been restored and the large beamed room, on the ground floor, offers a charming, alternative space for guests to relax or enjoy a meal together.
