Lipno Lake is the first of a series of reservoirs on the Vltava River. All kinds of water sports are available along the 42-kilometer-long reservoir: swimming, surfing, sailing, rowing, canoeing, and fishing. The towns along the lake, Horní Planá, Cerná v Pošumaví, Frymburk, and Lipno, are connected by bus and boat services and all have campsites and beaches. Canoe and bike tours are organized from most of these towns, as well as walks and horseback rides. The town of Lipno nad Vltavou also offers many winter activities. Chairlifts take you from the village to the top of the Kramolin ski area. The little ones can stay down at the Fox Park, where there's a children's carousel, various fairytale characters, children's slaloms, and a ski tunnel. A basic ski pass allows you to use all the slopes. An extended ski pass also allows you to ski down the illuminated slopes in the evening. There are also facilities for snowboarders, and you can also take lessons at the local ski school. Ski equipment can be rented on-site. For cross-country skiers, there are cross-country trails for both beginners and advanced skiers. Right next to Villapark Lipno Dreams, the toboggan run takes you to the top and then, after approximately 1,400 meters of slopes and numerous bends, brings you back down again. Tired and exhausted after an eventful day, treat yourself to a drink and a tasty snack in the nearby restaurant. For more advanced skiers, there are several larger ski areas. These are located in Austria and can be reached by car within half an hour.

The village of Lipno nad Vltavou is a short walk away. The park borders a forest, making it very sheltered. Right next to the park are a restaurant and a new 1400m toboggan run. The paths in the park are all paved and illuminated at night. In the immediate vicinity, there is a children's playground, and just below is the stop for the chairlift, which takes you to the top of Kramolin Mountain in both summer and winter.
