Our 115-year old log cabin is less than 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville, NC, 11 miles to the Asheville Airport, and 25 miles to downtown Asheville.

Lynnwood Cabin was built in 1910 and has since been completely renovated without sacrificing the unique character of a hundred year old, vertical log cabin. Newly modernized custom kitchen and bathroom are surrounded by the original log walls and loft railings, a fieldstone chimney and fireplace. Relax in the antique claw foot tub, or clean up in the glass-enclosed tile shower. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you need to prepare any meal. Let us know if you’d like FRESH EGGS, depending on availability. Enjoy cooking outdoors on the Kamado Joe charcoal grill, or 36” gas flat top griddle. Dine out under the giant breezeway fan, hop in the hot tub, or chill out with a fire in the Solo stove under the stars. We’re set up for fun and relaxation.

Your reservation at the Lynnwood Cabin offers full access to the 20’x25’ outside breezeway, hot tub and adjacent gardens. An organic, edible garden is currently under development. The front door combo lock keypad offers you complete 24/7, keyless control coming and going.

We’re Patrick and Diane. We purchased this amazing property in 2016 with the goal of creating a special vacation retreat. The original property came with a 1910 log cabin and its renovation took top priority. As the log cabin neared completion, we realized the property had the potential to host a completely different experience and work was begun to construct the Coop de Ville next door. Since the completion of our new building and cabin renovations, we have worked steadily to create and enhance our landscape and garden areas. Outdoor seating areas have been developed and landscaping has been thoughtfully undertaken to enhance privacy on this large lot. Now we have purchased the 3 acres adjacent to the log cabin, and have constructed a new STR home there. Please be aware, our parcel is almost 4 acres now, and you may see us working onsite. Each spring, we plant a vegetable garden with the intention of sharing our harvest with guests. Keep an eye out for ripening tomatoes and let us know what plants you are interested in. We have been known to send a few home! We will gladly wave and say hello. Whether to chat is up to you. Our mission is to provide you with an enjoyable experience with as much privacy as you desire.

Lynnwood Cabin is centrally located to all the best Western NC has to offer. Just 15 minutes from the Asheville Airport and Sierra Nevada Brewing, a half hour to downtown Asheville, home to world class dining experiences. Also nearby are equally world class mountain biking, hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing and zip lining. Go outlet shopping, visit the River Arts District, see the Biltmore Estate. Tour wineries, cideries and breweries. September brings the Hendersonville Apple Festival, leading us right into fall leaf season.

Map your way to the cabin. You may notice our contemporary blue home on the hill first. Look for our Lynnwood Cabins sign and park in front of the cabin. Uber and Lyft serve our area and can easily get you to and from the airport.

This is a nonsmoking, no house parties, no animals property. Please note this is a small cabin and can only accommodate 4 individuals. Unbooked guests and parties larger than 4 are not permitted. Please note that we are situated on a two-lane state road in a 35mph zone.
