Relish the solitude and peace you crave, and leave behind everything you want to escape! The property is bordered by a privately landlocked tract of Kisatchie at the rear and our private land on all other sides. Our guests adore the coffee station with premium coffees, snacks, and bento boxes of breakfast and spa teas for relaxation. The full kitchen includes a 4-burner range and oven with warming zones, Bluetooth smart microwave, dishwasher, full-sized retro Frigidaire freezer/fridge, ice maker, toaster, and blender/chopper with personal smoothie attachments.

You'll find everything you need for adventure or relaxation, including a selection of insulated cups and wine tumblers to enjoy inside at the eat-in bar top or out on the patios. Our furnished porch has a great view into a tract of Kisatchie National Forest, home to an abundance of wildlife. The cabin and online guidebook include forest guides and maps to acquaint you with access to and use of the Kisatchie trails nearby, as well as our private trails.

Your television is connected to 5G WiFi via hotspot. A Roku TV on a swivel mount offers all your favorite streaming apps or guest mode with live TV and plenty of free channels. ***We are amid the National Forest, so speed is not as fast as you experience in the big city, although it is generally serviceable. There is no guarantee of speed per our service provider; however, you won’t want to sit around and watch a screen with the heart of Kisatchie trails right outside your door.

The full bathroom is separated by a sliding barn-style door and includes a shower/tub and a stacked washer and dryer unit free to use. We include a starter supply of luxury detergent, hand soaps, body wash, and shampoo. Two luggage racks and a small hanging rack for clothing or hang-dry items are also on hand.

The cabin is serviced by a brand new split AC unit with an integrated heater, wall thermostat, and easy instructions in our guidebook. The bathroom also has an excellent ceiling vent with heat that can almost blow dry your hair.

You may elect to glamp with your horse on-site and enjoy riding our trails across the road or elsewhere on our 400+ acres. The cabin is set on 2 acres, bordered by 100 acres of Kisatchie and 100+ acres of our land directly across the road. You’ll also be able to access our additional 300 acres just around the corner. We have two RV hookups that can be added at an additional charge per night. These spots can only be added to the cabin, so you will always have the property to yourself with your registered guests. The entire Kisatchie trail system is also just a short ride away. Horses must have current Coggins and a health certificate or proof of vaccination. Guests rave about the Queen bed with medium firmness memory foam mattress and an assortment of pillows from firm to soft. All pillows double bagged with Allerease covers.

The second sleeping space is a full Serta sleeper sofa. The cabin is tight with it folded down, but due to high demand we have added space for 1-2 more guests to stay. Waterproof mattress cover and linens for the sofa bed are provided.

One locked cabinet under the bar is for owners’ supplies. The rest of the property is yours to enjoy.

The cabin directly borders Kisatchie National Forest in the Claiborne area. Camp Claiborne is mere minutes away and there are trails of all types both on the property and within minutes for the avid hiker, equestrian and enduro or Jeep enthusiasts.

There are private trails on our property and walking trails in Kisatchie bordering the cabin, including the WWII and timber tram and a creek. You will be in the woods but within 10-15 minutes of stores. If you are coming to get away from it all, this is the place.
