About this place
Truly feel at one with the simple bush setting, large granite rocks, and extensive shade trees overhead. Peace.
Welcome to our Little Creek Yurt, on a raised jarrah flooring connected to a sitting deck overlooking a rare creek line of large, old growth native tree ferns. A beautiful shady cool spot in the summer months. Listen to the creek (seasonal) tinkle in the background. Meditate amongst the stillness in this beautiful secluded location.
This 4m Tasmanian Oak Yurt has a comfortable double futon bed, solar powered ambient lighting, a little pot belly stove to keep the space warm and cozy and a clear roof flap window ideal for star gazing and moon watching. Access to the yurt is by foot down a path, your car is left parked 50m away. Please note, the main shared amenities, toilets, kitchen, shower etc, are a 200m / 2 min walk up the hill by the ‘Big Sky Yurt’.
There you will find a shared hot shower, toilets, and a simple camp kitchen with a fridge, gas stove, sink etc. Breakfast and dinner can be provided on request, delivered to your yurt, often with home grown organic seasonal produce, vegetarian, vegan and other options or requests available or you are also welcome to do your own cooking of course.
Bring a torch and any other useful camping items you might want to make yourself comfortable, please also just let us know if there is anything we can supply or help you with.
Our rate request is $150 pn, discounts are automatically applied when booking for stays longer than one night.
Please note, the fireplace is only allowed to be used in the cooler months in line with local stipulations which change seasonally, if you are unsure please enquire. During the summer months of Dec, Jan, Feb there is always a total fire ban. Firewood is supplied by us during the cooler months at no extra cost when it is ok to have fires.
Thanks for looking, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
