The area is quiet surrounded by greenery, the beach can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The nearby beaches are varied to satisfy all needs, sandy, rocky, pebbly, equipped, with the possibility of renting deckchairs and umbrellas. These beaches make the beautiful Mediterranean vegetation along the coast unique and offer you shelter from the sun during the hottest hours of the day. To find your favourite beach, simply move a few hundred metres further as the structure of the beaches changes. For those who love the gym, free outdoor fitness equipment is available on the Villa Rita beach promenade. The nearest beach is 300 metres away, the grocery shop 500 metres, the restaurant 200 metres. There are several restaurants and pizzerias in the vicinity of the flat. The Da Lorenzo restaurant about 900 m from the house offers a wide selection of fish menus, starters, first courses and desserts. Only 400 m away is the stop of the tourist train that departs from the tourist village of Katoro and runs along the coast to the centre of Umag and vice versa. The centre of Umag can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or by tourist train.
In the centre of Umag, visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, take a walk along the famous Umag dam, explore the narrow and interesting streets of the historic centre of Umag, or visit the stalls and, to the delight of the children, the playground right by the sea. The supermarket is 500 metres from the house. To buy a larger amount of groceries, it is better to walk a few kilometres to the larger and more convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine.

There are various leisure facilities nearby: Tennis courts, the Adriatic Golf Club with 18 holes, horse riding, water sports, night clubs, adrenaline park, mini golf course, fishing. It is also possible to go on various organised excursions by boat or bus. The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants and bars. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days away from the beach or evenings out. Very interesting is the artist village Grožnjan, Motovun the typical medieval town situated on a hill and famous for the annual film festival held at the end of July, the village Livade very famous for its white truffle. For cave lovers, visit the Baredine cave. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Hum, the smallest town in the world, just 60 kilometres from Umag. Also interesting are the places on the coast such as the Brijuni National Park, Pula, Rovinj and Poreč. Organise various fish picnic boat trips where you have the opportunity to visit Rovinj and Poreč or Novigrad. A day trip to Venice by hydrofoil. Children will love visiting the Istralandia water park 20 km from Umag and the Dinopark in Vrsar, where fun is guaranteed. For gourmets, there are various opportunities for tasting wines, cheeses, olive oil, typical Istrian prosciutto and much more.
