You have exclusive access to this entire 900 sq. ft. home and the private rear deck. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or watching the famous Hermon Pond sunsets.

Summer: Cast a line right from the bank.

Winter: Walk 25ft from the house to the ice for world-class fishing.

Note: All water and ice activities are at your own risk. We do not monitor ice thickness; please prioritize safety!

Gear & Boat Maintenance 🧼

We’ve made it easy to keep your equipment clean. Two external hose hookups are available on either side of the building—perfect for rinsing off your boat, trailer, or fishing gear after a day on the pond.

Parking & Property Care 🚗

Parking: Please park strictly within the designated gravel driveway.

Septic Safety: To protect our system, please do not drive or park beyond the reflective markers. The system is vulnerable beneath the snow/grass, so staying on the gravel is a must!

Private Areas 🔒

For your safety and the maintenance of the home, the onsite shed, crawl space, and exterior mechanical equipment (propane tanks/heat pump) are strictly off-limits.

Welcome & Check-In 👋

I love ensuring my guests feel at home! I typically prefer to meet you in person upon arrival for a quick 5-minute tour. This allows me to hand over the keys and make sure you’re comfortable with the smart climate controls and the "endless" hot water system.

Things to Note 📝

Nature & Wildlife 🦅

This property is a nature lover’s dream. It is common to see Bald Eagles hunting over the pond, turtles on the shoreline, and deer visiting the yard. Keep your camera ready!

The Hermon View 🏔️

Enjoy a front-row seat to Hermon Mountain, located directly across the water. In the winter, you can see the trails illuminated for night skiing from the back deck.

Winter Travel in Maine ❄️

While Smith Road is well-maintained, we highly recommend 4WD or AWD during the winter months. The driveway will be professionally plowed, but Maine storms are unpredictable—come prepared for a true Northwoods experience!

Septic Care 🚽

We are on a private septic system (marked by reflective markers to the left of the driveway). To keep things running smoothly, please flush only toilet paper. No "flushable" wipes or other products, please.

Safety First ⚠️

Water/Ice: Feel free to enjoy the shoreline and ice fishing, but please do so at your own risk. We do not monitor ice thickness and do not provide life jackets.

Mechanicals: For your safety, please keep clear of the heat pump units and propane tanks.

Peace & Quiet 🤫

We are located on a very peaceful dead-end road. To respect our wonderful neighbors, we observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
