Ski resort of Kirintövaara 6 km. From the center of Posio, ski trails e.g. Kirintövaara and the wilderness-style ski trail to fell Karitunturi. Riisitunturi National Park 30 km.
Lake Livojärvi with sand beaches 16 km. Korouoma canyon 35 km. 60 km to Ruka (via Tolva village). 75 km to Iso-Syötte. Ranua Zoo 90 km.
Good cloudberry picking areas in Posio and Ranua are easily accessible.
