In the nearby village (approx. 3 km) Steinbergkirche you will find: supermarket and Aldi (also open on Sundays in the summer months), pharmacy, bakery, savings bank, post office, petrol station, church, doctors, snack bar, restaurant, wonderful hiking trails and much more. Local description: The municipality of Steinberg with its approximately 1000 inhabitants covers an area of 1625 hectares. With its districts of Steinberghaff, Steinbergholz, Norgaardholz and Habernis, it lies directly on the Flensburg Fjord and the Geltinger Bay. Inland, Steinberg borders on the municipalities of Steinbergkirche (official seat), Sterup, Niesgrau and Quern. The natural beach stretches 8 kilometres from the Lipping Au in the south to the Steinberg-Habernisser Au in the north.
